Discover the expressive and imaginative world of collage—where fine art meets playful invention! Join Mixed Media Artist Leslee Ortega in this joyful afternoon workshop where you’ll learn her techniques and tips on how to paint with paper to create colorful and delightful one-of-a-kind art.  

We’ll kick things off with a lively group warm-up of Florals in Vases designed to shake off perfectionism and welcome delightful surprises.  Then, you’ll go on to create some Fancy Little Cakes for all the ways we celebrate in our lives.  Whether your style leans whimsical or elegant, you’ll have access to a buffet of curated materials to bring your vision to life…and you won’t want to stop!  Everyone will go home with at least two different styles of magical art and a toolbox full of inspiration to continue your art making journey.  As an added bonus, the materials you need to continue on your own, are likely those you already have at home.  

No experience necessary!

BRING: Please bring your own scissors! 

NOTE: You are encouraged to bring a friend and a few of your own treasured papers or ephemera to personalize your work even more.  Adding personal elements can elevate your artwork into something deeply meaningful for yourself or as a gift. 

Each piece will be a standard 5 x 7 size, (greeting card or flat art) making your work extra easy for framing if desired.
