is a ceramic artist, teaching and working in McKinney, Texas. Joe says, “Taking a lump of raw clay from the ground and turning it into something interesting or even beautiful with the use of fire intrigues me. Exploring the various processes and techniques to do this is a passion.
My work is a reflection of trial, error and practice of many processes and techniques that change clay into something it wasn’t. I strive to bring the organic elements into harmony with the inorganic elements to create something aesthetically pleasing to the eye.”
