Heidi Kidd…

Kidd is a contemporary impressionist who works in soft pastel to capture the landscape's unique and strange beauty.  Her work explores composition, design, color, shape, and line through mark-making.  Kidd captures the landscape while plein-air painting, creating transient moments where the light fractures across the horizon.

Kidd works full-time as a professional textile designer for Sharon Young Inc. in Dallas.  She has over 25 years of experience as a corporate artist working for big-box retailers such as JCPenney, Kohl’s, and Macy’s. See more at https://www.heidikidd.com
